Thank you for being part of the Sleepiest community. We’re sorry to hear you were unexpectedly charged after your trial ended, especially if you didn’t realise your subscription was due to begin.
This article explains how trial reminders work and what to do if you need help with a charge.
⏰ Why Didn’t I Get Notified Before My Trial Ended?
If you started your trial through the Sleepiest iOS app, you should receive a reminder notification before your trial ends if push notifications were enabled when you first set up the app.
When you first join Sleepiest, you may be asked whether you’d like to allow push notifications. If you tap Allow, we can send reminders such as trial or subscription updates.
If you tapped Don’t Allow, or if notifications were later turned off in your device settings, we may not have been able to send you a reminder before your trial ended.
🍎 If You Started Your Trial Through Apple
If your trial or subscription was started through the iOS app, your billing is managed by Apple.
Apple also shows trial and renewal information when you first subscribe, including when the trial ends and when billing will begin.
You can check or manage your subscription through your Apple Subscriptions settings.
💳 I Was Charged After My Trial — What Can I Do?
If you were charged unexpectedly, please get in touch with our support team. We’ll be happy to look into this for you and help with a refund where possible.
When contacting us, please include:
The email address associated with your Sleepiest account
A screenshot of the charge or receipt, if available
Whether you subscribed through Apple, Google Play, or www.sleepiest.com, if you know.
🔔 How to Check Your Notification Settings
If you’d like to make sure you receive future reminders from Sleepiest, you can check notifications in your device settings.
On iPhone:
Open your device Settings
Tap Notifications
Find and tap Sleepiest
Make sure Allow Notifications is switched on
