Thank you for being part of the Sleepiest community. If you’d like to use sleep tracking in the Sleepiest app, you’ll need to make sure your device’s health app is set up and that Sleepiest has permission to access your sleep data.
This article explains how to set up sleep tracking and what to do if your sleep tracking is not recording correctly.
🌙 How Does Sleep Tracking Work?
Sleepiest pulls sleep data from your device’s health app.
On iPhone, this means Sleepiest uses data from the Apple Health app. On Android, Sleepiest uses the equivalent health or fitness app available on your device.
For sleep tracking to work correctly, your device’s health app needs to be set up first, and Sleepiest needs permission to read and write sleep data.
🍎 How to Set Up Sleep Tracking on iPhone
To make sure Sleepiest has permission to access Apple Health data:
Open your iPhone Settings app
Tap Health in the Apps section
Tap Data Access & Devices
Tap Sleepiest
Toggle on Allow Sleepiest to Write
Toggle on Allow Sleepiest to Read
This allows Sleepiest to mirror sleep data from the Apple Health app.
📱 How to View Sleep Tracking in Sleepiest
